• Please provide your South African ID number and phone number.
• Then click “Submit”.
• You will see your SASSA application reference number at the top of the screen along with other application information.

2. SASSA SRD R350 Application ID on WhatsApp

Alternatively, you can use WhatsApp. To get your SASSA Application ID you need to follow these steps:

• Note the SASSA WhatsApp number 082 046 8553 in your phone contacts.
• Send “Status” message to this WhatsApp number.
• SASSA will send you an automated reply. Please answer “Yes” to this message.
• When prompted, provide any additional information you may need.
• That’s all there is to it. You will now receive your SASSA reference number.
